Supporting a Major National Infrastructure Development
Fazmi Group proudly provided comprehensive Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project, one of Malaysia’s most significant national infrastructure initiatives. Our scope of work covered Station STN01 in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, through to Station STN08 in Chukai, Kemaman, Terengganu, ensuring consistent quality control across multiple project locations.
Through our systematic and standards-driven approach, we supported the integrity, safety, and reliability of critical structural and mechanical components. Our involvement contributed directly to maintaining construction quality while supporting the project’s compliance with regulatory and engineering requirements.
Advanced NDT Techniques and Expertise
Throughout the ECRL project, Fazmi Group deployed a range of advanced Non-Destructive Testing methods, including Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). These techniques enabled accurate detection of internal and surface defects, thorough weld inspections, and verification of material quality in accordance with stringent industry standards.
Commitment to Safety, Quality, and Compliance
Our NDT services played a vital role in ensuring that all tested components met safety, performance, and durability requirements. By adhering to recognised international standards and project specifications, we supported the safe execution of works while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and quality assurance frameworks.

Fazmi Group’s contribution to the ECRL project from STN01 to STN08 reflects our strong commitment to precision, reliability, and technical excellence. By delivering accurate and dependable testing services within project timelines, we helped safeguard structural integrity and support the successful progression of this landmark infrastructure project.
